By accessing or using TravelSafe.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you must not access or use the Service.

TravelSafe.ai provides travel safety information, advisories, visa requirement data, crime prevention guides, scam databases, AI-generated safety reports, trip planning tools, and PDF safety briefings. The Service is provided by TravelSafe (the "Company", "we", "us", or "our").

2. Description of Service

The Service includes the following features, availability varying by subscription tier:

• Country Safety Pages — Real-time travel advisories sourced from the U.S. Department of State and other government agencies for 250+ countries.
• Visa Requirement Checker — Visa data sourced from open-source passport index databases.
• Crime & Scam Guides — Educational content compiled from government safety guidance and consular reports.
• PDF Safety Briefings — Generated PDF documents with advisories, emergency numbers, embassy contacts, and travel phrases.
• Trip Planner — Travel itinerary planning with dates, cities, and automated safety briefing delivery.
• AI Safety Reports — AI-generated travel threat analysis powered by third-party AI models.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Providing accurate and current registration information.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

4. Subscription & Billing

Free Tier (Explorer): Basic access to country safety pages, advisories, emergency numbers, embassy contacts, and a free PDF brief via email.

Paid Tiers (Wanderer / Navigator): Additional features including trip planning, premium PDF briefs, AI safety reports, and enhanced phrase libraries.

• All paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends.
• Billing is handled through Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
• You may cancel at any time. Access continues through the end of the current billing period.
• We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions are not affected mid-term.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reproduce, redistribute, or resell content without written permission.
• Use automated scraping tools, bots, or crawlers to extract data.
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Misrepresent travel advisories or safety data as official government guidance.
• Attempt to bypass access restrictions or security measures.
• Use AI-generated reports as the sole basis for travel decisions without consulting official sources.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, trademarks, and branding on TravelSafe.ai are owned by the Company or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Third-Party Links & Content

The Service may contain links to third-party websites and services (including Stripe for payments, Clerk for authentication, and Resend for email delivery). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these third-party services.

Government advisory data is sourced from publicly available information and is subject to change without notice. We make no guarantee of real-time accuracy.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRAVELSAFE AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TravelSafe, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or reliance on information provided for travel decisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
